Job Description

As Digital Product Lead & Business Expert, LATAM, you will be part of the LATAM digital expansion kickoff and influence and have an impact over the evolution/iteration of digital offerings that will steer, prioritize, and build the digital customer needs in LATAM.  This is an exciting opportunity in which you will create and execute on local strategy and vision aligned with the broader company and market goals.  You will have the autonomy and ownership of testing and setting up processes and ways of working. We know «the what» but this role will determine «the how». The role will be given broad guidelines by global, markets, etc. but the person will have a lot of autonomy.  We have a high-level strategy with BrandLive for big developments but there will be no rigid process to follow, and it will be up to you to define a strategy to what’s needed now and what’s needed in the preceding months.  You will participate in QBRs for Product increments and have yearly meetings with the Global and Regional teams to set annual goals and roadmaps to align with the company’s QBR goals.

Core Responsibilities includes but is not limited to: 

  • Ownership of backlog prioritization and incremental developments based on business case/need and in collaboration with E-commerce team and country management
    • A backlog already exists, so this is not totally a blank slate, but can prioritize accordingly
  • Test and implement own processes, ways of working, white-label development
  • Partner with BrandLive, Global Business Tech, partners in development, Local E-commerce teams, Logistics, Regional Business Tech, and Local country/region management in an inclusive and efficient way and build partnerships with local organizations and businesses to support operations
  • Be the expert on the market, the customer, and the product!
  • Accountable for benefits realization, efficient operation & achievement of product-specific KPIs within dedicated markets, and communicating regular tracking to product teams and hub as well as internal & external stakeholders in markets and functions
  • Identify market opportunities and create commitment & understanding around the global product strategy with the different stakeholders in the markets
  • Synthesize local customers’ needs into product requirements for global products or if necessary, into locally adapted or fully local products
  • Ensure deployment of products to markets, if necessary, by dedicating roll-out and change team to support the rollouts
  • Work with global product teams and/or the regional product leads to prioritize market needs across Business Tech portfolio of products and take on end-to-end responsibility for local adaptations of global products if applicable
  • Understand local market regulations and compliances to make sure products are in line with them and spot opportunities when the market shifts
  • Engage closely with development teams to balance scope and delivery timeline
  • Act as the primary escalation point for end-user business units in the dedicated region in relation to owned products during rollouts and operation
  • Responsible for synchronizing roadmaps and goals with countries to ensure strong operational and organizational readiness within markets when rolling out new and change of existing products



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant working experience in Retail, eCommerce, Product Development/Management, etc.
  • 5+ years experience in Product Development and Management
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a must!
  • Experienced in Agile and OKR methodologies, Market & Trends Analysis, User Documentation
  • End-to-end Product Strategy execution experience from ideation, roadmap development to a successful launch
  • Understanding/working knowledge of MVP Definition
  • Passion to challenge the status quo and find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas
  • Independent self-starter, able to make own decisions, not afraid to «roll up the sleeves», and seeks to go outside comfort zone to learn
  • Strong communicator and possesses stakeholder & change management experience within the international and diverse context
  • Ability to design, develop and deliver change programs and initiatives to maximize user adoption
  • Ability to travel and work in the country during the needed roll-out period
  • Understand global strategies and make them relevant in local markets
  • Good understanding of business tech products and ability to create understanding & engagement within the markets around their business value
  • Have a business and customer-oriented mindset and solve complex problems
