The SEO / SEM Specialist drives qualified organic and paid search traffic by improving technical SEO, expanding keyword coverage, and managing search campaigns across high-intent customer journeys.
The role combines hands-on execution with performance analysis, partnering with content, product marketing, and web teams to improve rankings, conversion rates, cost efficiency, and pipeline contribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search-intent mapping using tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, and Google Keyword Planner
- Optimize site architecture, metadata, internal linking, landing pages, and structured data in partnership with web and engineering teams
- Manage Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns, including account structure, bidding, targeting, ad copy, budgets, and negative keywords
- Monitor technical SEO health through Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Sitebulb; identify and prioritize crawl, indexation, Core Web Vitals, and schema issues
- Build dashboards and recurring reports in GA4, Looker Studio, or similar tools to track rankings, traffic, conversion rate, CAC, ROAS, and pipeline impact
- Develop SEO briefs and performance recommendations for content teams based on keyword gaps, SERP analysis, and conversion data
- Run landing-page, ad-copy, and audience tests; document findings and turn performance insights into actionable channel improvements
What We Are Looking For
- 1-3 years of hands-on SEO and SEM experience, preferably supporting a technology, SaaS, e-commerce, or high-growth digital business
- Working knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms such as Semrush or Ahrefs
- Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, including crawling, indexation, canonicalization, redirects, XML sitemaps, structured data, and Core Web Vitals
- Experience analyzing search performance and translating data into campaign, content, and website recommendations
- Strong spreadsheet and reporting skills, including comfort with formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, and channel-performance analysis
- Clear written communication and the ability to manage multiple optimization projects with content, product, design, and engineering partners
- Bonus: Experience with Looker Studio, Screaming Frog, SQL, WordPress or Webflow, conversion-rate optimization, and B2B SaaS demand generation
